An integrative genomic analysis of different HCC datasets including 956 patients identified a molecular subclass (~25%) characterized by activation of the immune system (e.g., increased T cell cytolytic activity). Further characterization found both active and exhausted T cell signals within the immune class. Authors provide a novel potential predictive biomarker of response to immune therapies.
