What Happened at ILCA 2009?

The 3^d ILCA Annual Conference gathered over 650 delegates from 43 different countries in Milan, Italy, on 4-6 September 2009.

The Conference's success demonstrated how the International Liver Cancer Association has, 3 years time, grown into a mature organisation providing a highest quality multidisciplinary platform on HCC.

This event was instrumental to confirm the status of the International Liver Cancer Association as an international reference for promoting the advancement of liver cancer research and care, but also because the first change in the ILCA highest leadership took place there.
Indeed, the ILCA community has welcomed a new President, Prof. Gregory Gores (USA), who took over presidency from the founding President Prof. Jordi Bruix (Spain). For all information concerning the changes in the ILCA Governing Board, please click here.
