We are extremely pleased to announce that the abstracts submissions for ILCA 2008 (September 5-7) have brought in over 250 high value scientific contributions, which leads us to predict a very successful conference.

We thank those of you who submitted abstracts for your interest in actively contributing to our scientific exchange, but even if you have not submitted abstracts, you should plan to attend ILCA 2008 in Chicago to participate in priming knowledge across disciplines! As you may have noticed, ILCA's activities have kept moving forward very efficiently over the past months, with the continuation and advancement of many excellent initiatives. Very good examples are the partnerships with related organisations, which are being consolidated through joint activities.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to meet many of you at our Collaborative Symposium with CIRSE at ECIO and our Joint Workshop with EASL in Milan, and we thank you for your interest and participation.
A lot more joint initiatives are under preparation and we will make sure to keep you duly informed of all developments.
